We are a short-term rental management company specializing in high-quality Airbnb properties. With a strong reputation for delivering excellent guest experiences and maintaining top-tier listings, we’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead our on-the-ground operations.
About The Role
As the General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Airbnb properties, ensuring all listings are guest-ready, staff are well-coordinated, and our high standards are consistently met. You’ll be responsible for managing cleaning and maintenance teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring smooth check-ins, turnovers, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across all properties
- Schedule and manage cleaners, maintenance teams, and contractors
- Ensure properties are cleaned, restocked, and guest-ready on time
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain standards
- Manage inventory of supplies (toiletries, linen, cleaning products)
- Coordinate repairs and handle emergency maintenance issues
- Assist with guest escalations and in-person support if needed
- Maintain communication with remote teams and reporting systems
- Develop and improve operational workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Onboard and set up new properties in our systems
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using management platforms associated with Airbnb & Booking.com
- Driver’s license and own reliable transport (if travel between properties is required)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when necessary
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Ability to thoroughly inspect apartments
- A good sense of smell
- Ability to manage and coordinate maintenance and housekeeping staff
- Experience with guest communication
- Experience with financial reporting and working well with numbers
- Must be able to maintain an organised and transparent working environment in terms of inventory management
